KNOX was established in 2012 and has since completed projects in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Monaco and Switzerland.
Knox offers a wide variety of services that cater to a full turnkey project if required. We offer very high quality finishes, and we have a wonderful team of experienced tradesmen and suppliers all of whom we know well and have worked with us for a long time.
We always apply a strong emphasis on trust this can be hard to come by for clients when entrusting their homes and privacy. Knox has an extremely strong moral code and this has been the recipe for many successful projects.

First meeting (ideally on site) - This is free of charge
Post this meeting a summary of what Knox has understood to be the basis of the project is sent via email with terms and conditions. The client will need to reply to this email accepting the terms. Alongside this the client needs to send a Pinterest link to the looks that they like and if they are not sure we of course can set this into motion.
Once the overall look has been agreed via imagery Knox will develop a look book and a quotation. This process involves a lot of work and is subject to chargeable time, half of this is refundable against the first Knox Invoice. If the project is a design and build this is done in two stages. The first stage being the fittings and fixtures as we call it 'the bones' of the project, this will also involve the cost of all trades associated. The second phase is soft furnishings, furniture, designer lighting and accessories.
Once the client has checked the quotations and any changes have been made and agreed a start date will be set and time plans generated for all. A contract will be signed directly with the builder and a payment schedule will be arranged.
Knox Interior design and joinery design do not carry a contract we work on trust. All items bought for a project are paid fully upfront. Time is billed monthly and due on receipt.
Any extras requested or discussed with or by the client will be confirmed in writing. The client will have five working days to flag any concerns, post the five working days, no response will be taken as acceptance.
Knox will photograph the property in detail and flag any snags at the end of the project and the client will have two weeks from this point to also create a snag list if any. This will all be addressed at the 12 week point post handover.
Founders of Knox
Knox was founded in 2012 by sisters Lucy Clarke and Zara Osztreicher, who had a desire to create the best out of all spaces with high quality interiors and quality finishes.
Having spent their childhoods immersed in interiors Knox was always destined to be.... Knox has grown exponentially over the last thirteen years as has our experience and overall knowledge, we are able to confidently offer the services offered by Knox.
Lucy and Zara are never afraid to get their hands dirty and get the projects over the line, if anything this is part of what they thrive on!
Building a working relationship with foundations of trust has been the key to Knox from the outset. Transparency, laughter, and the extra mile are always on the table.
Claudia has worked for Knox since 2021, with a strong interest in design Claudia came to Knox with a wish to learn Interior Design and Development skills. She is a fantastic member of the team with a great attitude and strong hard working ethic. No detail is too small!
Administration and Media
Sofia joined Knox in 2023. Knox was needing some extra help with coordinating of projects and the media needed a good sort out. Sofia has a very happy disposition and nothing is a problem, she has come in and made some great improvements to keep us a current and efficient as possible for our clients. Nothing is too much trouble!
